Marie-Noëlle Lincourt-Ethier

Marie-Noëlle Lincourt-Ethier thrives when she’s outside of her comfort zone. This affinity with challenges has served her well during her studies at École Polytechnique de Montréal, earning a baccalaureate in mechanical engineering and a master’s in biomedical engineering, before extending her stay and becoming a research associate.

Soon enough, Marie-Noëlle wanted a new challenge and launched her professional career at Bombardier Aerospace, in supply chain and supplier management to begin, with in mind to eventually transfer into engineering.  But her path is anything but predictable: after growing within the organization, she decided to join Merck in 2016 as the Procurement Country Lead, learning yet again an entirely new business field. She continued her discovery journey, occupying diverse roles such as Strategy Realization Officer and Strategic Account Manager, before becoming Executive Director for Business and Commercial Excellence. Overseeing a broad range of divisions such as Communications, Customer Engagement, and Demand Planning, just to name a few, this current role is right up Marie-Noëlle’s alley, allowing her to use her multifaceted experience, all the while continuing to learn.

Just as she tries to expose herself to as many learning opportunities as possible, Marie-Noëlle does the same with her children during her free time, focusing on sharing new experiences via travel, as well as sports and music activities.
