Scott Raveling

Scott Raveling didn’t always see himself in the health care or pharmaceutical fields. He originally received an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering to pursue a scholarship opportunity and career in the United States Navy. Once his Navy career was complete, Scott knew exactly what he wanted to do next: continue his learning path and explore the world of finance through MBA studies. Equipped with his Navy achievements and diversified education, Scott sought out specific companies with esteemed reputations and Merck seemed to be the perfect fit.

And it certainly was, as Scott has now been with the company for 23 years. He currently oversees every financial function of Merck Canada as its Senior Finance Professional. Scott appreciates every opportunity he’s been provided throughout his career at Merck and feels lucky to work with smart and passionate colleagues. A golfing and live music enthusiast, Scott’s favourite pastime is spending time with his family.
